The McCartney Experience is an authentic tribute to the former Beatle, and leader Jed Duvall is practically Paul in appearance, mannerism, and musical talent. The act features music from the early years of Beatlemania, throughout the career of the Fab Four. But unlike many Beatle tributes, the band expertly performs hits from McCartney's days with Wings, as well as the solo numbers Paul made famous.
Jed and the band bring authenticity to a whole new level; for example, Duvall—a natural right hander—taught himself to play left handed, just like Sir Paul. And the rest of the band are seasoned musicians who tirelessly rehearse to get each song right. It's this dedication and hard work that make The McCartney Experience one of the most popular tributes to Paul McCartney. You'll be amazed—no "maybe" about it..
BAND BIOS
JED DUVALL
("PAUL")
Being a dead-ringer for the Liverpool Legend may be enough for some tribute artists, but Jed Duvall goes several steps further. A graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Jed’s ability to capture the spirit of Sir Paul has wowed audiences in the US and abroad; in 2024 he was part of the Paul celebration concert in Madrid, bringing his tribute to a whole new audience. And his dedication to the role is evident in his left handed bass and guitar playing (even as a natural right-hander), as well as his encylopedia-like knowledge of all things Paul.
KEVIN DRISCOLL
A long-time part of the McCartney Experience, Kevin cut his teeth in Nashville, performing as a solo act and with various bands. He is the leader of two DC/Baltimore based bands—The Jaded Saints and The Hard-Core Troubadours, as well as several duo and solo shows, and released his solo album, Blood and Passion, in 2010. Kevin’s musical experience, enthusiasm on stage and ability to play multiple instruments (bass, guitars, mandolin) makes him an invaluable member of the act.
DAVE CORNWELL
Dave is a veteran of the regional music scene and a seasoned rock and roll guitarist whose playing is deeply inspired by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Faces, Yardbirds and many other rock legends. With nearly 40 years of experience performing local the Baltimore area and on tour while signed to Geffen Records, he has honed a style that pays homage to the greats as well as his own melodic swagger. His love for melodic storytelling and admiration of the masters who came before him make Dave a perfect fit as the lead guitarist for The McCartney Experience. Dave is a solid professional, committed to capturing the essence of McCartney’s legendary sound and brings an authentic energy to every performance.
DON JACKOWSKI
Don is a musical product of the 60’s, having grown up in the Renaissance era of popular music and electronics. His initial training through one of his piano teachers has a tutorial heritage that can be traced back to Franz Liszt, the virtuoso pianist of the Romantic period of the 1800’s. He has performed onstage as an electronic music specialist for over 50 years. He has been an award recipient from Billboard Magazine, and will soon be a featured artist on the internationally renowned Youtube presentation of BACKSTAGE WITH GIG PERFORMER, during which his sound design and stage performance with The McCartney Experience will be covered in detail to provide insight for other artists throughout the world. He looks forward to bringing the lush orchestrations and ground breaking keyboard arrangements of Paul McCartney’s music to live audiences.
TOM SABIA
A veteran of the DMV area, Tom has been behind the drums for many local and national acts, including Love Nut, Junkyard Saints, and Andy Bopp. His metronome-like beat as well as his ability to improvise provides drives the pulse of The McCartney Experience.
